What is the difference between dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections?

How much dermal filler will I need?

Our dermal fillers are dissolvable; therefore, you will always have the peace of mind that if you’re unhappy with the results, the procedure can be immediately reversed.

What are the risks involved in dermal fillers?

At Just Skyn, we are on point with all latest procedures and ensure that skin is cleaned using anti-septic (chlorexhidine/betadine) prior to any procedure. The risk of bruising is also minimalised by using a cannula to administer the dermal filler.

However, as with any procedure, there are minimal risks:

Bruising/puffiness at the time of treatment
Swelling afterwards
The ‘Tyndall Effect’ – blueish discoloration is the dermal filler is injected too superficially

Are dermal fillers painful?

Obviously, some people are more sensitive to pain than others. Similarly, some areas of the skin are more sensitive than others, such as the centre of the lip.
